- Token voting
- A governance rule in which voting power is proportional to the number of tokens held.
- Tragedy of the commons
- The argument that individuals sharing an open resource will overuse it, because each gains fully from use while costs are shared.
- Tyranny of the majority
- The danger that unrestrained majority rule will oppress minorities or individuals, whether through law or through social pressure to conform.
