“The design had three phases: an online survey of priorities that gathered over 5,000 suggestions, a summit on 11 November 2011 at Tour & Taxis where 704 randomly selected citizens deliberated in groups of ten, and a smaller citizens' panel. The organisers said results were deliberately non-binding.”
Context. The summit was planned for 1,000 participants and the G1000's own history says 'almost 1000 people' gathered; the Dutch Wikipedia timeline gives 704 participating citizens.
