“Fargo voters adopted approval voting for city elections on 6 November 2018 (Measure 1, 63.5% yes). It was used in the 2020, 2022 and 2024 city elections; a North Dakota law banning approval and ranked-choice voting, signed in 2025, ended its use before Fargo's June 2026 election.”
